Hey Guys,

The overall response to my blog has been spectacular! I am clearly overwhelmed because I did not expect this to happen. Today, I am sharing my makeup superheroes with you guys. These products save the day because I can slap them on my face and run out the house. They are so affordable and worth every dime. They are perfect for that 5-minute-face.

Foundation: The foundation I use almost on a daily basis is the Maybelline Fit Me Stick Foundation. I like the wide color selection and I had no problem finding my shade. The foundation is extremely creamy and the best way to blend it, is by using the warmth of your fingers. You then need to set it with a powder. It gives me medium coverage. My skin is combination and I think it does control oil because I don't look like a frying pan after a few hours. Which obviously is a good thing. Right, people?

Powder: The powder I like using is the L'Oréal Infallible Pro Matte Powder. The whole Infallible range is quite impressive. The powder provides a matte finish with a hint of coverage. I use it on its own sometimes, for that no makeup look. The Rimmel Stay Matte is also my favourite, but my shade is always out of stock at my local drugstore. #girlproblems

Brows: I have really thick brows. I feel so blessed but recently I got into the whole eyebrow routine thing. I notice that using a brow pencil still makes a huge difference. So, now like most girls I need to fill them in before going somewhere important. I use the L'Oréal Brow Artist - Super Liner in Dark Brunette. I don't use the white end. I just use the brown end to fill the sparse areas in and it lasts literally all day.

Blush: NYX makes the best blushes. Who agrees? My favourite is Pinched. It is a dupe for the NARS Orgasm blush. This lovely pink shade has a hint of shimmer, which gives you that healthy glow. It suits my medium skin tone really well. You might notice the tape on the packaging. The lid broke last year but, I taped it back on :) I love this blush so much !

Another favourite of mine is the Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blushes. Unfortunately, they are only available in Asia. I own all three shades and they all deliver a great flush of color. They are not chalky and one blush pot can last about 2 years or more. No joke :) I used one throughout my uni-days. I was the rosy- cheeked girl. Looking at the swatches in natural light, they are almost the same in color.

These blushes have the right amount of pigmentation and its hard to mess your makeup look whilst using them. You can definitely build up the color.

Lips: For my everyday easy lip shade, I prefer nudes (hahaha) or dusky rose shades. These are some of my favourites. My MAC Whirl liner is fantastic. I use it underneath any lipstick or gloss. On its own, it looks like the perfect grungy shade. It is easy to apply, but its a bit drying. That's why I like layering a gloss over it; like this Revlon gloss. I don't like buying expensive sheer glosses and this Revlon one has been my favourite for years. All Revlon glosses are pretty good.

The other lip product is the Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Maple Kiss. It looks exactly like maple syrup and it is not drying at all. It has a browny-orangey look to it. The color payoff is good.

Eyes: For the eyes, I love using black kohl. The Lakme Eyeconic Kajal is a good choice. Urban Decay also has amazing black kohl liners. The best kajal I own is the Lakme Absolute Kohl Ultimate. It is to die for. Using kohl pencils or kajal is super easy. They glide on the skin and give you that oomph factor. Even if you mess up a bit, you can just smudge it till it looks presentable.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara is clearly the best amongst all the drugstore mascaras I have tried. It gives me that falsies effect and its not that hard to take off. I just use an oil based remover and voila! Its gone. It does hold my lashes throughout the day and I like applying two coats.

What are your favourites?

Lots of love♥,

Lubna
