I admit it, I have been watching too much SATC recently ! And this has made me shoe obsessed like Carrie Bradshaw. I don't own a pair of designer heels yet and I think this might be my lucky year.

I have been saving for special items. But, I do feel like some designer heels look horrendously uncomfortable. Are they really worth it ? I will have to find out. Christian Louboutins are at the very top of my list and I have been eyeing the So Kate heels. They are definitely an investment. And come on, the best shoes are made in Italy.

On another note, I am also lusting after the YSL bags. Especially the WOC, with textured leather. Chanel bags have become so overpriced; whilst, these seem like a terrific buy. A girl has to have the pretty things in life ? Doesn't she ? Something to make her feel grand. Due to the hefty prices of designer pieces, I will always go for something classic. Something that will mesh with almost every outfit.

This lovely crotchet top is a definite showstopper. The delicate detailing just stole my heart. And who doesn't love tailored trousers ? I feel so casual yet so chic.

 

I like investing in watches and I have a lovely collection. This piece has so many memories attached and in my opinion, watches will never lose their place in this world. They bring this feeling of sophistication.

The overall response to my blog has been spectacular! I am clearly overwhelmed because I did not expect this to happen. Today, I am sharing my makeup superheroes with you guys. These products save the day because I can slap them on my face and run out the house. They are so affordable and worth every dime. They are perfect for that 5-minute-face.

Foundation: The foundation I use almost on a daily basis is the Maybelline Fit Me Stick Foundation. I like the wide color selection and I had no problem finding my shade. The foundation is extremely creamy and the best way to blend it, is by using the warmth of your fingers. You then need to set it with a powder. It gives me medium coverage. My skin is combination and I think it does control oil because I don't look like a frying pan after a few hours. Which obviously is a good thing. Right, people?

Powder: The powder I like using is the L'Oréal Infallible Pro Matte Powder. The whole Infallible range is quite impressive. The powder provides a matte finish with a hint of coverage. I use it on its own sometimes, for that no makeup look. The Rimmel Stay Matte is also my favourite, but my shade is always out of stock at my local drugstore. #girlproblems

Drugstore Beauty Favourites : February ♥

This month I found some really good beauty products at the drugstore! I prefer drugstore makeup to high-end because its more affordable. I do love Sephora, but I only go there when I need a product which I won't find in the drugstore. I am really loving matte lips and a good highlight right now! I feel like matte lips look sophisticated and sexy. I don't use lipglosses that much. My favourite drugstore mattes are the NYX Matte Lip Creams, Revlon Matte Balms and the Maybelline Color Blurs.

 

PCOS Haircare - What works for me!

Hey Guys,

I found out that I had PCOS in 2013, when I was 18.(I won't say diagnosed because I don't see it as a disease, that would be pessimism.) PCOS sucks! Everyone who deals with knows. Most women deal with male-patterned hair loss, along with other PCOS symptoms. I started losing my hair way back, when I was only 14. I didn't realize how bad it was until I started seeing a wide parting and extremely brittle hair. I tried lots of things; Minoxidil was a big no no. I was too scared of its side effects. Last year, I bought a hair loss treatment called Phytolium 4 from Sephora. And thankfully, my parting seems thinner. It has no side effects and it smells like ayurvedic oil. One box lasts for 2 months.
